Pitta Abhyanga Oil (Cooling)
This body oil helps cool, calm, and soften for fiery constitutions.
Essential oils — patch test on inner wrist before full-body use. Pregnancy: rose and chamomile are generally pregnancy-safe; sandalwood is mild — but consult provider. Allergies: coconut and floral EOs are common allergens. Don't use on broken skin.
About this recipe
*Abhyanga* — the daily warm-oil self-massage — is one of the deepest Ayurvedic practices for nervous-system regulation, lymph circulation, and joint mobility. This is the *pitta* (cooling) version, suited to hot, intense, inflammation-prone constitutions or to summer use across all constitutions. Coconut as the cooling base; sandalwood, rose, and Roman chamomile as the calming aromatic layer.
